My Stormy Youth
A memoir of Holocaust survivor Norman Kamelgard, originally written in Yiddish in 1945 at the age of 18.
This English translation, gives Kamelgard's somber account of Nazi occupied Poland, transformed from a cultural Mecca to desolate slave-labor ghettos. It traces his family's fate from pre WW-II posterity to death in the concentration camps.
Published in print version in 2006, this important historic document is now available as an audiobook, read by Norman's son Joseph Kamelgard.
